ZACH WECHTER is a writer/director from Los Angeles, CA whose work explores life, technology, and how the two affect each other in the twenty-first century.

Zach directed Facebook’s first made-for-mobile series, Love & Longitude, which premiered in the Experimental Storytelling section at SXSW. In 2019, his short film Pocket, a year in the life of a teenager from the POV of his phone, was nominated for a Vimeo Best of the Year award in the Drama category. In 2020, Steven Soderbergh Executive Produced Zach’s interactive TV show Wireless, which stars Tye Sheridan and is set to play on The Roku Channel in 2021. Zach is a founder of  the mobile filmmaking collective PICKPOCKET, and a graduate of Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film & Media Arts.
