ZACH WECHTER is a Los Angeles–based writer, director, and producer whose work focuses on the intersection of technology and human behavior.
He directed Facebook’s first made-for-mobile series, Love & Longitude (SXSW), and his short film Pocket was nominated for a Vimeo Best of the Year Award in Drama. His interactive series Wireless, executive produced by Steven Soderbergh and starring Tye Sheridan, was sold to The Roku Channel.
He recently produced the short film Albatross, which premiered at Sundance 2026, and is currently directing a documentary about kids receiving their first smartphones.
